Dear Teething Runny, Tommy's Baby Race 2012 is approaching fast! Have you signed up to the Tommy’s Baby Race yet? If so, thank you and good luck. Have fun preparing for the race, and don’t forget to encourage family and friends to sponsor you! If you haven't registered yet, there's still time! A little while ago we told you that we were supporting the baby charity, Tommy’s, with their fantastic 2012 Baby Race series. They’ve already had a great response from mums like you who have signed up to help raise money to fund their work. But there’s still time to join in, if you’d like to do your bit! Tommy’s have organised 10 sponsored Baby Race events, up and down the country, for mums (and dads!) to run or power walk with their buggies and babies or toddlers. Greenhithe, Bluewater 01 July, 9am (8k) Aylesbury, Waddeson Manor 07 July, 10am (7.5k) Cheltenham, Pittville Park 07 July, 10am (8k) Windsor, Virginia Water in Windsor Great Park 07 July, 10am (8k) Ruislip, Ruislip Lido 07 July, 10am (8k) Bedford, Marston Country Park 08 July, 10am (8k) Northwich, Marbury Park 14 July, 10am (8k) Cambridge, Milton Coutry Park 22 July, 10am (8k) Glasgow, Bellahouston Park 15 September, 10am (5k) Cardiff, Cardiff Bay 23 September, 9.30am (5k) Remember, it’s £14.50 to register and you’ll get some great freebies like a t-shirt, training plan and goody bag. You don’t have to raise a set amount to take part, but it’d be great if you could aim for £50. Just imagine, if 200 of you each raised £50, you’ll have raised a massive £10,000, which could help fund a research assistant, or even clinical trial! But don’t feel limited.
